How to Enable / Disable LinkedIn & Portfolio URL Collection
Open the job editor
When you create a new job or edit an existing job, open the job editor.
Open the Customisation tab
Select the Customisation tab.
Open the Interview Form settings
In the left panel, find the Interview Form section, then click the Form Element tab.
Find the LinkedIn & Portfolio URL field
Locate the LinkedIn & Portfolio URL dropdown or toggle.
Select the collection option
Choose the option you want to use for the job.
Save your changes
Click Save to apply the setting.
Collection options
- Enabled - Required — Candidates must provide their LinkedIn and portfolio URLs to proceed. Both fields are mandatory.
- Enabled - Optional — Candidates can provide their LinkedIn and portfolio URLs or skip this step. The fields are not required.
- Disabled — LinkedIn and portfolio URL fields do not appear, and candidates cannot submit these links.
Best practices
- Required — Use this for roles that depend on portfolio work, such as design, development, or creative roles.
- Optional — Use this for most roles when you want extra professional context without blocking applicants.
- Disabled — Use this when you collect these links through another system or do not need them for the role.
