What is Mobile Number Collection?

Mobile number collection lets you request candidates to provide their phone number during the interview. You can set the field to required, optional, or disabled depending on how you want to collect contact details.

How to Enable / Disable Mobile Number Collection

Open the job editor

When creating a new job or editing a job, open the job editor.

Open the Customisation tab

Select the Customisation tab.

Open the Interview Form settings

On the left side of the page, in the Interview Form section, click the Form Element tab.

Find Mobile Number Collection

Locate the Mobile Number Collection dropdown or toggle.

Select the preferred option

Choose Enabled Required, Enabled Optional, or Disabled.

Save your changes

Click Save to apply the setting.

Mobile Number Collection Options

  • Enabled Required — Candidates must provide their mobile number to proceed.
  • Enabled Optional — Candidates can provide their mobile number or skip this step.
  • Disabled — The mobile number field does not appear, and candidates cannot submit phone numbers through the form.

  • Required — Use this when you need immediate follow-up contact for the next interview stages.
  • Optional — Use this when a phone number is helpful but not critical.
  • Disabled — Use this when you collect phone numbers through other means or systems.
