Fine-Tune Question Settings

These settings apply to video, audio, text, and single choice questions where relevant.

  • Allowed Takes — Available for video and audio questions only. This controls how many times a candidate can re-record or retry.
  • Thinking Time — Sets how long the candidate has to prepare before answering. For example, 30 seconds.
  • Allocated Response Time — Sets how long the candidate has to complete the answer. For example, 2 minutes.

Use these settings to match the pace of the interview to the role. Shorter times work well for quick screening questions, while longer times give candidates room for detailed answers.

Single Choice Questions

When you select Single Choice, add answer options and mark the correct answer if you use scoring. Select Save when you finish.
