What is AI Question Generation?
Xinterview's AI automatically generates relevant interview questions based on your job position and job description. Use it for quick setup and to keep question sets consistent across similar roles.
Use AI generation when you need a strong starting point for a new job and want to avoid writing every question manually.
How to Generate Questions
Click Generate with AI
Select the Generate with AI button in your job setup flow.
Open the modal
A modal window opens where you can configure the question set before generation.
Configure Your Questions
Choose how many questions you want for each format before you generate them.
- Video questions — choose the number of video questions, such as
2 - Audio questions — choose the number of audio questions, such as

For example, 2 video questions + 2 audio questions + 1 text question + 1 single choice question gives you 6 total questions.
AI Generates Questions
Xinterview AI generates customized questions based on the job description and the question types you selected. The generated set reflects the role details you provided, so you start with questions that match the job more closely.
Review & Use
Review the generated questions
Check the generated questions before adding them to the job.
Click Add
Click Add to use the questions in the job.
Edit if needed
Make any changes before you finish.
