-
1 Take — The candidate can try one time only.
-
2 Takes — The candidate gets two attempts and can re-record once if they want to improve.
-
3 Takes — The candidate gets the most retakes and can make up to three attempts to perfect their response.
Best Practices
-
0 takes — Use for critical questions or screening.
-
1-2 takes — Use this range for most interviews.
-
3 takes — Use for important or complex questions.
-
More takes improve candidate experience.
-
Fewer takes create a stricter assessment.
Use fewer takes when you want a more controlled assessment, and more takes when candidate comfort matters more than strict scoring.
